Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week we are celebrating Sarah Dodds, an
educational assistant at Holy Cross Catholic School. Sarah was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“It has been a pleasure collaborating with Sarah this year. Sarah is a dedicated, patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate educator who brings a wealth of experience to the classroom. She always has the best interest of all students at heart and works hard to advocate for their needs. Thank you Sarah for all that you do to help support our learning community!!!!”
This week we are celebrating Martin Tota, a designated early childhood educator (DECE) at Holy Cross Catholic School. Martin was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Martin is a fun-loving, dedicated, compassionate educator who always has the best interest of his students at heart. The kids love learning with "Mr. T", especially when he breaks out his guitar! Martin is a team player who is always willing to lend a helping hand and go the extra mile. Thank you Martin for making a difference everyday!!! It has been wonderful collaborating and learning with you as an exceptional partner in the kindergarten classroom!”
We would like to thank Sarah and Tota for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
