A rare total solar eclipse is set to occur on Monday, April 8th.

While it promises to be a breathtaking sight, it also brings some safety concerns for our students. In response to these concerns and to ensure the well-being of our school community, we've adjusted our calendar.

Many school boards in the province have changed their calendars due to safety concerns about the solar eclipse. Our Professional Development (PD) day, originally planned for April 26th, will now be on April 8th for both elementary and secondary schools. This change means that students will stay home on April 8th.
