Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week we are celebrating Victoria Baumgart, a
Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) at Saint Mary Catholic School in Huntsville. Victoria was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Victoria is such a blessing to our school and community! She is always the first to lend a helping hand, she is where our students go during challenging moments. Whether you need helpful advice, guidance, or even just a good vent. Victoria is your person! She is a great resource to Saint Mary's school. We are all so very lucky to have her.”
This week we are also celebrating Jacqueline McBride, Elizabeth McCague and Carole Lowther, Special Education Consultant, Psychologist Associate and School Counselor at Academic Services. Jacqueline, Elizabeth and Carole were nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Jacqueline, Carole and Beth have been supporting our school since it opened in 2015. They are always available to offer support, lend a helping hand or to discuss an issue. They do everything with kindness, grace and compassion. They see the ability of every student that is on our profile and help us to help them reach every goal. They truly are valuable members of our extended team and we are blessed to have them as part of it!"
We would like to thank Victoria, Jacqueline, Elizabeth, and Carole for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
