Celebrating Staff LogoEvery week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student, or colleague.

This week, we are celebrating Vanessa LoGreco, a Vanessa LoGreco teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Vanessa was nominated by a parent who said:

“Mrs. LoGreco is an amazing teacher, very understanding and always willing to help to accommodate the students and their needs. She is always providing solutions to help. She always has a smile, is very welcoming, very respectful, and very supportive, all around a great teacher.”

Krystal LandryThis week, we are also celebrating Krystal Landry, a teacher at St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School. Krystal was nominated by a colleague who said:

“Krystal goes above and beyond in supporting our school community by spearheading and stocking a food cupboard for our students in need. She puts so much time and effort into ensuring that this program will be a success. Her kind heart and willingness to help everyone in our school community are an inspiration to us all. Whenever I need help, I know she will be there for me!”

This week, we are also celebrating Hanna Slowikowska, aHanna Slowikowska teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic High School. Hanna was nominated by a parent who said:

“Ms. Slowikowska always answered my many worries as a first-time mom with high school student worries. She was always quick to answer any of my concerns about my student no matter how busy her day was she always made the time to call me or email me right away. She provided excellent feedback on his essays and work and guided him when needed. Her teaching style is wonderful and keeps the class very interested. She is a very honest and fair teacher overall. The work load is very good and she is very organized and allows appropriate and fair timelines for CCT, essays, assignments, readings and questions.”
