Every week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, a student, or a colleague.
This week, we are celebrating Tina Cucchiara, a
designated early childhood educator at St. Charles Catholic School. Tina was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Ms. Cucchiara always goes the extra mile to make sure her students are happy, involved, and having fun while they learn. Her creativity makes the classroom a joyful place where every child feels valued and supported to reach their full potential.”
This week, we are also celebrating Laura Pecchia, a designated early childhood educator at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Laura was nominated by a colleague and a parent who said:
“I want to celebrate Laura Pecchia, as she is a humble and religious educator. She is a very caring individual who will help anyone in their time of need. Laura loves teaching her students about God/Jesus, and her students have shown tremendous growth in their faith. Laura also runs Worship Wednesday and Rosary Club on her own time. She is a dedicated educator who deserves to be recognized.
She's been an absolute pleasure working with my son and teaching him. Thanks to her, he is showing interest in prayer and God. She's so kind and sweet and deserves recognition for her hard work.”
We would like to thank Tina and Laura for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
