Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who a parent, student or colleague has recognized.
This week, we celebrate Susana Colletti, a designated

early childhood educator (DECE) at St. Charles Catholic School. Susana was nominated by a parent who said:
“Ms. Colletti’s years of experience and knowledge have made my child’s entrance into kindergarten a smooth transition. It is evident that she puts in the thought, time, and effort into her work each day. We appreciate the extra time she puts into the children to ensure they are supported and engaged! Her dedication has not gone unnoticed, and we’re grateful our child is in such caring and capable hands.”

This week, we also celebrate Ericka Malcolm, an educational assistant at St. John Vianney Catholic School. Ericka was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Ericka Malcolm is an impressive and outstanding Educational Assistant who focuses intently on student success and well-being. Her interpersonal communication skills give her a keen sense for recognizing the needs of others. It is inspiring to witness. Empathetically and eloquently, she effectively solves conflicts and easily adapts and adjusts to new and challenging situations. Mrs. Malcolm is a kind and beautiful person who exudes professionalism as well as goodwill to all.”
We would like to thank Susana and Ericka for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
