Every week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week, we are celebrating Stella Greaves, an
educational assistant at Sister Catherine Donnelly Catholic School. Stella was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Stella is a hard-working individual who cares both about the students she works with and their success. She follows the plans to help the students develop their skills and then goes beyond that by adding other supporting activities. She is patient, kind, and well-liked by students and staff alike. Stella is a very organized, meticulous, dependable multitasker. She is an integral part of the staff, and we are incredibly lucky to work with her!”
This week, we are also celebrating Jennifer Fernandes, an educational assistant at Holy Cross Catholic School. Jennifer was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Jennifer is the kind of coworker who consistently goes out of her way to help others, always putting the needs of the team before her own. She has a natural ability to make everyone feel supported and included, ensuring that no one is ever left behind. Whether it’s offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a thoughtful gesture, she brings warmth and positivity into every space she enters. Her dedication, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond in everything she does make her an invaluable part of our team and a true joy to work with.”
