Celebrating Staff LogoEvery week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who a parent, student, or colleague has recognized.

This week, we are celebrating Rosalia Boragina, a Rosalia Boragina teacher at Holy Cross Catholic School. Rosalia was nominated by two colleagues who said:

“Mrs. Boragina is always stepping in, lending a hand, and going above and beyond. Not because she has to, but because she genuinely cares. Whether it's organising events, creating beautiful displays, or doing social media, her efforts make a huge difference. She is the glue to our school, staff, students, and community. Mrs. Boragina makes our school a better place. Words cannot describe how amazing she is to our team.

Mrs. Boragina is a wonderful member of our school community. Her creativity, dedication, service and enthusiasm make our halls and classrooms come alive!

When Mrs. Boragina puts her mind to something, she goes all out, creating exciting experiences for our whole school community.

As a choir leader, special events co-ordinator, member of our community council, concert lead and teacher of the arts, Mrs. Boragina puts 100% effort into all that she does. She makes everyone feel welcome, included and special at our school.

Thank you, Mrs. Boragina, for all that you do!”

Luigi TaddeoThis week, we are also celebrating Luigi Taddeo, a lead custodian at Father F.X. O’Reilly Catholic School. Luigi was nominated by a colleague who said:

“I would like to take a moment to nominate Luigi, as I feel he works very hard both keeping the school in good, clean order and making all staff feel welcome. He is very approachable and helpful when stressful situations arise. I always look forward to seeing him around when I arrive for my shift. Thanks, Luigi, for all you do for us in the FFX Custodial department.”

We would like to thank Rosalia and Luigi for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
