Every week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week, we are celebrating Nicole Laframboise, a
principal at Monsignor Clair Catholic School. Nicole was nominated by a colleague who said:
“I would like to thank Nicole Laframboise, our principal at Monsignor Clair, for her outstanding leadership. She is a role model and an example to all. She goes above and beyond the duty as our principal to ensure that staff, students, and families have all been mentally, physically, and emotionally supported in every way possible. You are truly a blessing to our school, community, and our board.”
This week, we are also celebrating Steven Linklater, a teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. Steven was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Mr. Linklater is a dedicated and reliable educator who leads by example every day. He always shows up on time and has never missed a day of school, demonstrating a strong commitment to his students and his profession. Mr. Linklater never gives up on any challenge, always pushing forward with determination. He goes above and beyond by volunteering to read at school liturgies, contributing to the spiritual life of the school community. Inside his classroom, you can see that it is a place of respect. He also takes the time to support and mentor new teachers. Mr. Linklater is a valued member of the school community who consistently inspires those around him.”
