Celebrating Staff LogoEvery week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, a student, or a colleague.

This week, we are celebrating Jennifer Lemieux, a vice jenn lemieux principal at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School. Jennifer was nominated by a colleague who said:

“Ms. Lemieux is an energetic and compassionate leader. She works hard to build relationships with students and staff members. She goes out of her way to show her appreciation for staff and students, including her “Bee-yond the Call” initiative for staff nominations and her “Apple-ause for Staff” apple treats. She is organized and thoughtful and follows through on conversations and commitments. Her enthusiasm for school spirit is undeniable. We are so thankful for her leadership.”

Jennifer St. OngeThis week, we are also celebrating Jennifer St. Onge, a school librarian and teacher at Monsignor Clair Catholic School. Jennifer was nominated by a colleague who said:

“As the school librarian, a Special Education Resource Teacher, and a member of our Catholic School Community Council, as well as various other school committees, the impact of Jennifer St. Onge’s thoughtfulness is felt throughout the school community. Jennifer is always careful and thorough in her consideration of the needs of those entrusted to her care, as well as those she works with, helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. She is truly a role model in her exceptional professionalism as she supports students’ development academically and emotionally, and in all of her interactions with staff and families. We are blessed by Jennifer St. Onge’s dedication to enriching our school community!”

We would like to thank both Jennifers for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
