Every week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student, or colleague.
This week, we are celebrating Ericka Malcolm, an

educational assistant at St. John Vianney Catholic School. Ericka was nominated by a colleague who said:
“She truly is exceptional! She goes above and beyond in everything she does. Her patience, kindness, and unwavering care shine through in every interaction. She is always willing to give her time, lend a hand, and support in any way possible.
We are so grateful for her dedication, and the positivity she brings to our school community. Thank you, Mrs. Malcolm, for all that you do; you make a meaningful difference every single day!”

This week, we are also celebrating Ginette Bradley, a teacher at Monsignor Clair Catholic School. Ginette was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Mrs. Bradley builds community at Monsignor Clair quietly, and without drawing attention to herself by organizing school community events, from Open House to Terry Fox, and by assisting with committees such as volunteer recognition, and social committee. Whenever a hand is needed behind the scenes, she is willing to step up, and assist. She has been a leader in implementing evidence-based strategies to strengthen early literacy at our school over the past few years, and her overall dedication to her pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth results in her students making great gains towards achieving their God-given potential. Monsignor Clair School community is blessed to have Mrs. Bradley as a part of our educator team.”
We would like to thank Ericka and Ginette for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
