Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week we are celebrating Aimett, an Occasional
Teacher at Sister Catherine Donnelly Catholic School. Aimett was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Aimett is a large part of the Sister Catherine Donnelly Catholic School community. She fulfills many roles at the school, sometimes more than one at once, often at the last minute but always with a smile. Aimett is flexible and able to adapt quickly. She treats students and staff with kindness and genuine caring. Thank you Aimett for adding so much to our school community!”
This week we are also celebrating Ian, an LSS Technician at Facilities Services. Ian was nominated by a colleague, who said:
“Ian is a familiar face throughout the board providing unsurpassed service and technical support. He is always ready to lend a hand and help out wherever needed. His customer service skills are exemplary. Although Ian is responsible for his daily tasks, he can often be found assisting other co-workers with their tasks.”
This week we are also celebrating David, Matthew and
Gregory, teachers at St. Angela Merici Catholic School. David, Matthew and Gregory were nominated by a student, who said:
“These three teachers have shown me and many other students what it is like to feel safe and to be happy in a school environment. I think all three of these teachers deserve to be recognized. Thank you for putting smiles on our faces :) ”
We would like to thank Aimett, Ian, David, Matthew, and Gregory for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
