Every week we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.

This week we are celebrating Charlena Harvey and the EA team at St. Marie of the Incarnation Catholic School.

Charlena is an educational assistant at St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School. She was nominated by a colleague who said:

“Charlena is a very engaging staff member who is deeply committed to her students. For years, Charlena has been actively involved in the community by participating in numerous fundraisers, which have assisted many people. She has been the girls' senior volleyball coach for years. Finally, Charlena is very much admired by her fellow staff members who enjoy learning from her example as a leader.”

“We have an incredible EA team at MAI! They are consistent and work hard to meet the needs of our students. They collaborate on ideas with all staff to ensure their students are supported in the best way. Their compassion and dedication are immense, and the students, staff, and families are lucky to have this team. You all are truly appreciated and we are blessed to have you!”
