Every week, we celebrate SMCDSB staff members who have been recognized by a parent, student or colleague.
This week, we are celebrating Chantel Colasanto, an
educational assistant at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School. Chantel was nominated by a colleague who said:
“Chantel is a warm and welcoming part of our educational assistant team. She consistently goes above and beyond being a voice for our students and staff alike. Chantel has done wonders for our special education program, including creating safe spaces for our students, revamping our sensory spaces, along with support for all our students' needs. We are so grateful to have such amazing support in our school.”
This week, we are celebrating Robert Harrison, a principal at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. Robert was nominated by a parent who said:
“Mr. Harrison has an amazing ability to actively listen, prioritize effectively, empower others, take decisive actions, motivate change, communicate clearly, and remain focused on student success. Mr. Harrison truly runs this school amazingly, and we can't say enough about him.”
We would like to thank Chantel and Robert for their commitment to Catholic education at our board.
