May 10, 2018 - BARRIE, ON: Earlier this week, elementary, secondary and post-secondary competitors from across Ontario gathered in Toronto to showcase their skilled trade at the annual Skills Ontario Competition.

Dalton Bown of St. Peter’s Catholic Secondary School in Barrie took gold for the second year in a row in the IT Software category. The Grade 11 student placed first in secondary IT Software Solution for Business and last year in the IT Office Software Application category.

Next up, Dalton will be heading to the Skills Canada Competition from June 1-6 in Edmonton to battle it out against the top national competitors.
