This year’s theme for Catholic Education week is Renewing the Promise.  We will be joining with every other Catholic school in every Catholic School Board in Ontario to remember our own individual and collective commitments to Catholic education.  

Catholic Education Week is a wonderful opportunity to recognize how fortunate we are to share in the gift of Catholic education. It is also the perfect time to recognize everyone in our school communities who work together to share in the faith and learning journey of our students and staff.

Today, we would like to recognize all of the school based support staff in our schools who work in partnership with our principals, vice principals, and teachers.  We depend upon each of you to help us create an exciting, engaging, inclusive, and safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors. So many people comment that they can “feel the difference” when they walk into a Catholic school -- and the difference that they feel is directly attributed to your kind, caring, and supporting nature.  Thank you for being such a vital member of our Simcoe Muskoka Catholic family.
