The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board’s Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) together with our partners, the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB), Georgian College, the County of Simcoe, the City of Barrie, and the Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board is hosting the third annual Simcoe Muskoka Skilled Trades Expo.
This award-winning event will provide students with an opportunity to experience various trades by participating in a series of hands-on activities and demonstrations. Local employers from the four skilled trades sectors; Construction, Industrial, Motive Power and Service will be facilitating the activities and available to discuss the apprenticeship pathway with students.
Simcoe and Muskoka Skilled Trades Expo will take place:

From 5-7pm, students and their parents are invited to check out the expo to speak to employers about the opportunities available in their companies. The evening event is free to attend and all are welcome!
