Heading to college or university in the fall? The new Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) will provide students with more generous financial support than ever before. This will include free tuition for hundreds of thousands of low and middle income students.

OSAP can help part-time and full-time students pay for tuition, textbooks, living costs and school expenses. Funding is based on a number of factors including family income and can include grants (money you do not have to pay back) and student loans (money you will need to repay).

Students who will be attending a post-secondary institution and are in need of financial assistance are encouraged to visit ontario.ca/osap to learn about the program, find out how much they may be able to receive and how to apply. Students are encouraged to apply prior to graduating at the end of June.
