The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) have partnered again this year to launch another important initiative - Mental Health Awareness Week.

Last year, more than 70 landmarks, organizations and buildings across Ontario were lit green for Mental Health Awareness Week and thousands of people showed their support by wearing green. Going green for mental health is a simple way for you remind the community that we must make mental health a priority and reduce wait times for service.

Mental Health Awareness Week runs from May 1-7 and individuals can participate by wearing green and/or taking pictures near numerous landmarks illuminated green throughout the province and sharing them on social media using the hashtags #GETLOUD and #kidscantwait.
