International Languages Programs Have Ended for 2019-2020

Greetings families of International Languages Programs.
With the Government of Ontario issuing a media statement in response to the emergence of COVID-19 in the province of Ontario. The Premier of Ontario, Minister of Health and Minister of Education issued a joint “order” mandating the closure of all publicly funded schools in Ontario for March break and the following two weeks. Schools will not be reopening until April 6, 2020.This means that SMCDSB International Languages Programs has come to end for this 2019-2020 school year. We feel at this time with the uncertainty in the province that possibility of classes after Easter would not be possible.
We would like to take this opportunity that thank all of our students, staff and families for your dedication and support to our program. It has been a challenging second half with the snow days and now this shutdown.
We are hoping for a new start in September 2020. Registration for the 2020-2021 International Languages Program will be opening towards the middle of April, 2020. We will send out a reminder email to families regarding registration.
Have a safe March break and rest of this school year.
