Summer Mental Health Services

The school closures we just experienced as well as the uncertainties about returning to school in September are impacting the emotional well-being of some students. Mental health professionals from the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board will provide virtual counselling for students throughout the summer.

In addition, our team can provide consultation services to parents and caregivers regarding the mental health of their children. Our psychologists, social workers and psychotherapists are available to provide support or make referrals to other agencies throughout July and August.

Please see the Summer Mental Health Services flyer for more information.

Requests for support can be made by completing the Summer Mental Health Services Request Form.

Mental Health Resources

Our Psychology  Department has put together resources to help support the mental health of parents and students. Please view the videos below. The Canadian Pediactric Society also has some resources for parents on their Caring For Kids Website.
