Elementary Kids Take Note
Welcome Elementary Students
From the day you were born you started to learn. The learning started in the nurturing environment of your home and parish; you took your first steps and spoke your first words. Then you started school and continued your learning journey tackling reading, writing and multiplication tables. Everyday when you are at school, whether you realize it or not, you are learning something new.
It doesn't matter if you are in Kindergarten or graduating from Grade 8, when you are in school we want to make sure that you get the very most out of your entire school experience. We are here to help prepare you for a promising future as you build on your experiences in the pursuit of life long learning.
Once you reach Grade 7 and 8, it is time to start thinking about your plans for high school and beyond. We want to make sure that your move to one of our Catholic high schools is an easy one. That is why we have created the link The Transition to High School – here you will find useful information to help you prepare for the leap to Grade 9.
Faith Focused Learning
We are not only interested in your learning success as a student enrolled in a Catholic school, your spiritual well-being is also important. We feel blessed to be able to teach and practice our Catholic values in the classroom. Take a look at our Focusing on Faith link to get more information about how we make your education better by helping you learn more about our faith.
Getting Good Grades
It is easier and more important than you may think to get good grades. We have developed a Getting Good Grades link to provide you with some homework and study tips and other hints that will help you do better in school. We have also provided a really great list of Cool Links that will help you in school – and, they may even be fun too!
