Types of Jobs
There is a wide range of employment opportunities at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board. We categorize positions into four areas:
- All teaching positions
- Principals and vice-principals
- Management opportunities
- Support positions

Criminal Background Check (CBC)
The safety of our students is a number one priority at our Board and that is why it is our policy that all job applicants submit (at their expense) an original copy or certified copy of a satisfactory CBC, including a Vulnerable Sector Screening. The CBC must be provided before an offer of employment can be confirmed.
Any and all offers of employment made to any individual, volunteer or service provider, are conditional on receiving the CBC, with a Vulnerable Sector Screening. The CBC must be submitted and marked “Confidential and Private” to the attention of the Director, Human Resources of the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board in a sealed envelope.
